Pooko
Yes... it's true... we do have another cat. Couldn't help ourselves really. Having donated the wonderful (though reclusive) Needles to our friends Gavin & Harumi, we never intended to have another cat.
But when I met my neighbour's friend at the fruit shop with Pooko in a carrier I couldn't really resist her pleas for someone to adopt her.
She's a Russian Blue we think and may well be as pedigree as cats and dogs get in Korea but we'll never know. What we found out though, a few weeks after we got her, was why she'd been abandoned in the forest: diarrhoea.
Down at the vets, Sheena was treated to a close up of a trichomonas parasite under a microscope. It can take up to nine months to cure and will cost us W3000 a day until it goes. She's actually been poo free for quite a while now actually so maybe it's working. In any case, the name stuck (-ko is a Japanese female suffix meaning "child" so she's literally Poo-child).
Anyway, she's very cute and if you want to see more of her cuteness then click the pic.
Gotta run... have to take her to the vet in my rucksack for a checkup!
