MAP HELP

We didn't really mean to go into Bosnia-Herzegovina when we planned this leg of the trip. But so many people recommended visiting Sarajevo that we just had to. We were very glad we did. It wasn't easy to get to as we were hitching and it took a few rides. Eventually though, we made it there via Mostar which was also interesting. Going to these places highlighted vividly for us the scars of the Balkan conflict. Meeting people who'd been involved as we hitched was an experience. As was seeing so many buildings still derelict and shot up. And some very beautiful mountains on the way up from Mostar to Sarajevo too. TIP: Press F11 on your keyboard to view this page full screen.
